What are you doing this Saturday?

I have been busy sorting, labelling, organising, and displaying ready for the Totton and Eling Art Festival this coming Saturday!!!! I'll be there 11am to 5pm if you do pop by.

If you are free (and local) come along to see lots of local talent... there will be art, the craft market (where I will be), workshops, entertainment, and lots more.

"Arts & Crafts Market

On the 23rd May at Hanger Farm Park we will be having a rather large outdoor Arts and Crafts Market, intermingled within the arts and crafts market will be live performances, music, arts and crafts workshops and delicious food sellers.

We are inviting you to come on down on Saturday 23rd May from 11am-5pm to enjoy the huge outdoor Arts and Crafts Market that will be taking place. Enjoy some of the best arts and crafts all locally handmade that Totton and Eling has to offer. This is a chance for local people to showcase their creative skills, so please come on down and support our many stall holders.

Take in the whole festival and have fun in our photo booth gazebo, throw a pot on a pottery wheel, learn to face paint, enjoy some delicious waffles, buy some one off pieces of art work or gifts, watch one of the many performances taking place in Hanger Farm Park, then walk on over Hanger Farm Arts Centre for an Arts and Crafts Workshop and watch one of the many FREE performances taking place that day."

Preparing for a craft fair takes a lot more time than you may think, especially if you are a perfectionist about your display layout and picky about which colours sit next to each other. I have been setting up the individual frames and also have done a couple run throughs of how to place the different jewellery holders. All I have left is to move some of the hanging ribbons to the right height in the frames, make a few more bracelets, and cut out more card labels to replace old ones. Oh, and make sure my packaging is branded. And get change for the float. And... and... :-) I will be ready on time though. Wish me luck.

Fingers crossed for good weather and I hope to see some of you there.

See you on the other side.
